9-11 WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

This was one of those moment sin history no one will ever forget. Everyone will remember where they were when this happened. Where were you? Did you lose a loved one? Let's all remember and pay tribute to all those that sadly lost their live needlessly.

My story about that day.....

My hubby and I woke up and turned on the tv to see on the news about the 1st tower. At that point no one knew what was going on. We had a busy day planned. I went to gas up the car while my hubby made breakfast for our daughters. While I was on my way there I heard the news about the 2nd tower being hit by a plane and wondered what the hell was going on. When i got to the gas station it was one that usually had a tv going with Keno or some other lottery game on but they had tuned it to cnn. And I stood there frozen just watching. I couldn't believe my eyes and what I was seeing. So after about 5 or maybe 10 mins I finally heard the cashier asking me to pay for my gas and move my car for the other customers that were waiting. So I paid and rushed home. When I got there hubby was feeding our girls and had no idea of the new stuff that had happened. So I pulled him aside and told him and we hurriedly finished breakfast and got the girls occupied with something and then took turns going into the other room to watch the news for updates. Needless to say our plans for that day never happened. We spent the whole day trading off on watching the news and taking care of our girls. We kept them away from the tv because even though they were to young to probably know what was going on we didn't want them to see. Wow even all these years later I still tear up when I think about it. Please share your story.
